DisplayPort version 1.2 provides video resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) at a 60Hz refresh rate. Also, it supports common 3D video formats. It can handle a bandwidth of 17.28Gbps. Version 1.3 supports up to 8192 x 4320 (8K) resolution, or two simultaneous 4K streams. Provides twice the bandwidth of version 1.2.
A DisplayPort provides multiple advantages. Provides robustness and high display performance. Also, it provides system integration and better interoperability between different devices.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interfaces . Combine video and audio into a single digital interface for use with DVD players, digital televisions, and other audio devices. In addition, HDMI is based on High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) and the core technology of Digital Visual Interface (DVI). For long-distance transmission, there must be a signal booster or active cable that can amplify the signal by itself.
