JUNGLE

Jungles are a very dense type of forest. They have a tangled and impenetrable vegetation. Due to the high density , it is a place of very difficult access; For this reason, the species that inhabit it often have to face great struggles and competitions for their survival.

Approximately 6% of the planet’s territory corresponds to forests and these are home to almost half of all species. In some contexts they are also known as jungles.

One of the main differences between forests and forests is that the former tend to have shorter trees and a very thin cover compared to forests (due to the little light that penetrates them).
