2. Wine = 7% to 15% (average 11%).
3. Champagne = 8% to 14% (average 12%).
4. Spirits (for example, rum, gin, vodka, whiskey) = 40% to 95%. Most typical examples purchased from liquor stores are 40% alcohol. Some highly concentrated forms of rum and whiskey (which can be as high as 75% to 90% alcohol) are available from specialty liquor stores.
