Visual arts: is the creation of images that can be seen. For example: sculpture, painting, photography.
Performative arts: are those that require some type of performance. Music, theater, dance, cinema.

Other types of arts such as literature are not so easy to classify. Art can be a representation of reality, communication of emotions or expression of other qualities.
Aesthetics is the branch of Philosophy that explores the arts and concepts related to their interpretation and creativity. Art is something that has been around since prehistoric times and continues to manifest itself in many ways today.
CULTURE
On the other hand, “culture” is a modern term that has evolved to become a fundamental concept in Anthropology since the 20th century. It comprises a wide variety of human behaviors and phenomena that cannot be directly attributed to genetic inheritance.
There are many definitions of culture, but the following two are the classic ones:
- It comprises the set of unique ways in which different people creatively live, represent, classify and experiment with.
- It is the evolved human capacity to act creatively, represent and classify experiences through symbols, customs, rituals.
However, the most accepted definition of culture today takes into account many aspects of human life, such as language, traditions, customs and art itself.
Finally, as can well be appreciated, the concept of culture encompasses that of art (according to the current definition of the former). Both art and culture go hand in hand and influence each other, but it must always be borne in mind that the former is only one aspect and reflection of the latter.
